About the Program
A complimentary hotel stay means the room itself is free. You receive a certificate that covers the hotel room cost for 3-7 nights (depending on destination). However, you must pay required taxes and resort fees directly at the time of booking, which typically range from $30-65 per night.
No. There is no timeshare presentation, sales meeting, or obligation to attend any promotional events. The complimentary hotel stays are a member benefit provided through our direct hotel partnerships — genuine complimentary stays with only the standard taxes and fees required.
Unlike discount programs that reduce prices, we provide actual complimentary hotel nights. You pay only the mandatory taxes and resort fees that every guest pays. The room cost itself is covered by your certificate.
Fees & Costs
You pay: (1) Your membership fee ($59/year or $15/quarter), and (2) Required taxes and resort fees at booking time, typically $30-65 per night depending on destination. These are mandatory fees charged by hotels and local governments to all guests.
Taxes and resort fees are standard charges that every hotel guest pays, regardless of how they booked. These include local government taxes, tourism taxes, and hotel service fees. These cannot be waived as they are required by law or hotel policy.
No hidden fees. We display all tax/fee amounts for each destination on our Fees & Transparency page before you select. What you see is what you pay. Optional upgrades or add-ons (room upgrades, activities, meals) are your choice.

Membership & Plans
Annual VIP ($59/year): You receive 2 certificates immediately upon signup — one for yourself and one to gift. No waiting, no crowdsourcing required. Gift Builder ($15/quarter): You earn your certificate by crowdsourcing credits through a Gift Goal. Only paid referrals count toward your goal — see the Gift Goal Credits section below for the full breakdown.
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your account portal. Note that certificates already issued remain valid, but you won't receive new certificates after cancellation.
Your credits are tied to your active membership. If you cancel, your credits are paused. If you resubscribe, your previously earned credits are restored — they don't disappear. We believe your effort should be honored.
Certificates you've already claimed remain valid and usable. Canceling your membership only prevents future certificate issuance.
Yes! Contact support to upgrade your plan. You'll receive the Annual VIP benefits, including 2 certificates issued immediately, upon upgrade.
Gift Goal Credits
When someone signs up for a paid membership using your Gift Goal link, you earn credits. Annual VIP signups give you 2 credits. Gift Builder signups give you 1 credit. Free account signups give you 0 credits — only paying members count. Once your goal reaches 10 credits, your travel certificate is unlocked automatically.
Annual VIP members pay more and commit for a full year, which represents a stronger contribution to the platform. We reward that accordingly — their signup counts for 2 credits toward your goal, so you reach 10 credits faster by referring VIP members.
No. Credits never reset and never expire as long as your Gift Builder membership stays active. They carry over every quarter automatically. You will never lose credits you've already earned. This is a firm commitment — we built the system this way intentionally.
No — you earn credits by referring other people who become paying members. Your own subscription is what activates your account and lets you create the Goal; the credits come from the people who join through your link.
Free signups earn you 0 credits. We're upfront about this because we want you to understand exactly how the system works before you start sharing. Only paid memberships (Annual VIP = 2 credits, Gift Builder = 1 credit) move your goal forward.
Absolutely. Your Gift Goal card in your dashboard shows a full history: every referral, their plan type, how many credits they contributed, and the date. Nothing is hidden. You can always see exactly where you stand.
You need 10 credits total. That could be 10 Gift Builder referrals (1 credit each), 5 Annual VIP referrals (2 credits each), or any mix. For example: 3 Annual VIPs (6 credits) + 4 Gift Builders (4 credits) = 10 credits. Mix and match however it works for you.
Certificate Rules
No, absolutely not. There are no timeshare presentations, no sales pitches, no sit-downs, and no obligations of any kind. Your complimentary hotel stays are a straightforward member benefit provided through our direct hotel partnerships. You book online, show up, and enjoy your vacation — no strings attached.
No. Certificates are for individual bookings only. You cannot use multiple certificates to book multiple rooms at the same property for the same dates. Each certificate is intended for one room, one trip. If you're traveling with a group, each person would need their own membership and certificate, booked separately.
No. The second certificate must go to someone at a different address — a parent, sibling, friend, in-law, coworker, anyone outside your household. This is a gifting program, not a loophole for 2 vacations per household. Two certificates redeemed at the same address within a 12-month period would be flagged by our hotel partners and could result in cancellation. The rule exists because it's what makes this a real travel gifting program, and what keeps us in good standing with the hotels that fulfill the stays.
You can redeem one certificate every 12 months. After completing a trip, there is a 12-month waiting period before you can redeem another certificate for yourself. This ensures fair access for all members. Gift certificates given to others follow the same schedule for the recipient.

You pick the destination first, not the specific hotel. After you select your destination and pay the required taxes and resort fees, you'll be presented with up to 3 available hotels in that area to choose from. This is how we secure complimentary rooms from quality hotels in each destination.
Hotels make most of their profit from amenities, dining, room service, gift shops, and local spending — not just room revenue. A guest staying in an empty room is more valuable to them than an empty room, because that guest will likely spend on meals, drinks, the gift shop, spa, and local attractions. Our partnerships let hotels fill rooms that would otherwise sit empty, and you get a real stay for just the mandatory taxes and fees.
Certificates require a minimum 30-day advance booking — this is a firm requirement, not a suggestion. You cannot use a certificate to book travel within the next 30 days. For best availability, we recommend booking 45-60 days out. Peak seasons and popular destinations fill up quickly, so plan early.
Date availability depends on the hotel and destination. You'll see available dates when redeeming your certificate. Flexibility with dates helps ensure better availability.
Certificates are typically valid for 12-18 months from issue date. Check your specific certificate for exact validity period.
Gift Certificates
Yes! Annual VIP members receive one certificate specifically for gifting. You'll enter the recipient's name and email during the gift claim process, and they'll receive the redemption link directly.
No, gift recipients don't need their own membership. They receive the certificate directly and can redeem it independently.
Yes, certificates can be gifted to anyone with a valid email address. They can then book from any available destination.
Refunds & Issues
Membership fees are non-refundable once certificates have been issued. If you're unsatisfied before claiming certificates, contact support within 14 days for potential refund options.
